The Clone Wars - S5E20 - "The Wrong Jedi"

4:18 - Yoda:  "Clouded by the dark side these things are, Padawan Tano, dangerously clouded."  This is somewhat similar to what he says in Attack of the Clones:  "The dark side clouds everything" [5:00].

6:09 - Padmé (to Anakin):  "Wait, where are you going?"  Owen asks, "Where are you going?" of Anakin in Attack of the Clones [1:13:42] and of Luke in A New Hope [25:09].

10:54 - Ventress (after Anakin says that she was the only one Ahsoka had talked to):  "That's not true."   Luke says the same thing in The Empire Strikes Back when Vader tells him about his father:  "That's not true.  That's impossible." [1:51:21].

13:04 - Barriss Offee (referring to Ahsoka):  "I was only trying to help her."  Probably just coincidentally, Han uses this same expression after Leia rebuffs him while working on the Millennium Falcon in The Empire Strikes Back:  "Hey, your worship, I'm only tryin' to help" [51:00].

17:56 - Chancellor Palpatine (to clone troopers, referring to Barriss):  "Take her away."  In The Phantom Menace, Nute Gunray commands, "Take him away," to a pair of battle droids, referring to Sio Bibble [1:18:19], and in Attack of the Clone, Jango Fett says, "Take him away" to battle droids, referring to Anakin [1:42:30].

18:21 - Anakin:  "Ahsoka, I'm so sorry about everything."  In Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan also tells Padmé, "I'm so sorry" [1:40:30].

The Clone Wars - S5E19 - "To Catch a Jedi"

2:11 - Anakin (after Mace Windu says he thinks it would be better if Anakin didn't go after Ahsoka):  "Master Windu, with all due respect, she is my padawan."  In The Phantom Menace, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan's pilot also says, "With all due respect" ("With all due respect, the ambassadors for the Supreme Chancellor wish to board immediately" [2:06]), and Obi-Wan uses it in Revenge of the Sith while speaking to Mace Windu about Anakin ("With all due respect, Master, is he not the chosen one?" [40:32]).

4:21 - Barriss (to Ahsoka):  "Be safe."  Shmi Skywalker also says this to Anakin before the podrace in The Phantom Menace [57:00].

7:37 - Ahsoka (to Twi'lek boy):  "Thanks, kid.  I owe you one."  In Return of the Jedi, Han also tells Luke, "I owe you one" [37:21].

9:51 - Ahsoka (to Ventress, sarcastically):  "Good luck."  In The Empire Strikes Back, an unidentified Rebel pilot wishes Luke good luck [36:02] and Luke wishes Lando good luck [2:00:09], and in Return of the Jedi, Han and Lando wish each other good luck [Han to Lando at 50:33 and Lando to Han at 52:21].

13:26 - Ahsoka (after Ventress says, "It doesn't seem like you need my help"):  "That's not true."  Luke has a similar line in The Empire Strikes Back when Vader tells him about his father:  "That's not true.  That's impossible." [1:51:21].

13:58 - Ahsoka (after Wolffe says, "We're taking you in now, Commander"):  "That's not gonna happen.  Trust me."  Han also says, "Trust me" (to Leia) in The Empire Strikes Back [1:20:06].

18:49 - Barriss (in disguise as Ventress) slashes a pipe with a lightsaber so that the exhaust temporarily stuns Ahsoka, which is similar to what Luke does to Vader (with a hose) in The Empire Strikes Back [1:44:37].

The Clone Wars - S5E18 - "The Jedi Who Knew Too Much"

0:54 - Yoda:  "Luminous beings are we."  He also says this in The Empire Strikes Back [1:10:54].

2:43 - Tarkin:  "You yourselves [the Jedi] said that you're peacekeepers, not soldiers."   In Attack of the Clones, Mace Windu says something similar:  "We're keepers of the peace, not soldiers" [4:49].

2:51 - Tarkin (to Ahsoka, after she says she hopes Palpatine knows what he's doing):  "I assure you that he rarely does anything without a strategy."  Palpatine uses similar expressions talking to Mace Windu and addressing the senate in Revenge of the Sith ("And I assure you, the senate will vote to continue the war as long as Grievous is alive" [25:12] and "But I assure you, my resolve has never been stronger!" [1:35:16]) and talking to Luke in Return of the Jedi ("I assure you we are quite safe from your friends here" [1:32:08]).  Qui-Gon also uses the expression in The Phantom Menace; after Queen Amidala says that Senator Palpatine fears the Trade Federation wants to destroy her, he replies, "I assure you I will not allow that to happen" [1:36:33].

16:06 - Anakin (to the clone troopers, referring to Ahsoka):  "Set weapons to stun; I want her alive."  There are two similarities here.  In A New Hope, a stormtrooper aboard the Tantive IV says, "Set for stun" [6:24], and Vader orders the stormtroopers to "bring me the passengers; I want them alive!" [6:08].  He gives similar orders in The Empire Strikes Back; he tells the bounty hunters:  "You are free to use any methods necessary, but I want them alive, no disintegrations" [1:06:14] and instructs Admiral Piett:  "Prepare the boarding party, and set your weapons for stun" [1:57:09].

20:50 - Anakin (to Ahsoka):  "Trust me."  Han also says this (to Leia) in The Empire Strikes Back [1:20:06].

21:21 - The shot of Ahsoka jumping into the lower levels has the same basic composition as that of Anakin jumping through the lanes of speeder traffic in Attack of the Clones [19:15]:

At 10:29, there's a brief cue of the Imperial march when Anakin starts to get angry at Commander Fox for not letting him in to see Ahsoka.

The Clone Wars - S5E17 - "Sabotage"

2:41 - Ahsoka (referring to Anakin):  "Somebody has to save his skin."  Leia uses the same expression in A New Hope ("Somebody has to save our skins" [1:18:22]), and Anakin uses it in Revenge of the Sith (when he tells Obi-Wan, "Alright, but you owe me one, and not for saving your skin for the tenth time" [24:38]).

3:22 - Ahsoka (after R2-D2 apparently slides off the cliff with Anakin's starfighter):  "R2!"  As a quote this isn't very unique, but combined with the situation, there's some resemblance to a scene in The Empire Strikes Back where R2 falls off Luke's X-wing into the swamp waters of Dagobah and Luke also yells, "R2!" [42:14]

15:59 - Above the door and in the kitchen of Jackar and Letta's apartment, there are panels that feature more uses of the hexagonal pattern seen in the homestead garage in Attack of the Clones and A New Hope.

Elements in the opening sequence of this episode mirror the beginning of Revenge of the Sith, and even some of the shots from within the Jedi starfighters are the same:
