Rebels - S4E2 - "Heroes of Mandalore, Part II"

0:30 - Sabine (about the Empire's weapon that targets Mandalorian armor):  "This is all my fault."  C-3PO similarly blames himself in A New Hope, when he thinks that Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewbacca are dying in the trash compactor:  "It's all my fault!" [1:24:42]  Later, when he's tangled in wires in the Millennium Falcon, he also blames R2-D2 with "This is all your fault" [1:36:11].

2:19 - Ursa Wren (to Ezra, after they're thrown by an explosion):  "Are you alright?"  In The Phantom Menace, Anakin asks Qui-Gon, "Are you alright?" [1:17:31] and Padmé asks Anakin, "You alright?" [1:19:06].  In Attack of the Clones, Padmé asks Anakin, "Ani, are you alright?" [50:02], and later a clone trooper asks Padmé, "Are you alright?" [2:05:54].  In Revenge of the Sith, Anakin asks the Chancellor, "Are you alright?"[11:49], and a bit later, Mace Windu asks him, "Chancellor Palpatine, are you alright?" [24:53].  Padmé also asks Anakin, "Are you alright?" [1:27:59].  In A New Hope, Luke asks Obi-Wan this [59:16] and Biggs asks Luke [1:46:44], and in The Empire Strikes Back, Luke asks, "Rogue Two, are you alright?" [30:31].  Twice in The Empire Strikes Back, Han asks this with a shortened "You alright?" once to Luke [22:12] and once to Leia [31:39].  Luke also asks Han, "Are you alright?" when they're captured by Jabba in Return of the Jedi [28:31].

5:03 - Tiber Saxon (to Thrawn):  "The weapon is fully operational, as promised, Grand Admiral."  In Return of the Jedi, Palpatine uses the same words to describe the Death Star when he tells Luke, "Now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational battle station!" [1:41:27]

10:37 - Ursa (accepting a less combative role in Sabine's plan):  "So be it."  Palpatine uses this same expression in Return of the Jedi, after Luke refuses to turn to the dark side:  "So be it, Jedi" [1:54:26].

14:09 - Tiber (dismissing Captain Hark's arguments):  "I am the Empire!"  Palpatine makes a similar claim to Mace Windu in Revenge of the Sith:  "I am the Senate!" [1:11:13]

15:00 - Ezra (to Kanan, about Sabine):  "She's in trouble."  Han says the similar "We're in trouble" after the Millennium Falcon fails to jump to hyperspace in The Empire Strikes Back [37:54].

17:49 - Stormtrooper (to Kanan):  "Hands up!"  A stormtrooper also says, "Hands up!" to Han and Leia in Return of the Jedi [1:48:07].  In The Phantom Menace, a battle droid says, "Hands up!" to Jar Jar and Captain Tarpals [2:00:19], and in Revenge of the Sith, one says "Hands up, Jedi!" to Anakin [10:22].

20:02 - Bo-Katan:  "This is only the beginning."  During his duel with Yoda in Attack of the Clones, Dooku says nearly the same thing:  "This is just the beginning" [2:09:49].

Rebels - S4E1 - "Heroes of Mandalore, Part I"

1:44 - Chopper says something that sounds like "Here we go again," which is what C-3PO says as the stolen Imperial shuttle launches in Return of the Jedi [53:10].

3:09 - Gar Saxon (referring to Sabine):  "You may do away with her allies, Commander, but I want her alive."  This is also part of Vader's orders to the stormtroopers in A New Hope ("Bring me the passengers; I want them alive!" [6:08]) and to the bounty hunters in The Empire Strikes Back ("You are free to use any methods necessary, but I want them alive, no disintegrations" [1:06:14]).

4:34 - Bo-Katan (to Ezra, referring to Sabine):  "Don't just stand there; protect her!"  While in the trash compactor in A New Hope, Leia gives the same command:  "Don't just stand there; try and brace it with something!" [1:21:37]

10:04 - Ursa Wren:  "Sabine, we've engaged Tiber Saxon's Imperial dogs."  C-3PO (with his head on the body of a battle droid) uses a similar insult in Attack of the Clones:  "Die, Jedi dogs!" [1:53:27].

14:21 - Kanan (to Sabine in the midst of the rescue attempt):  "How we doin'?"  Han also asks Luke, "How we doin'?" when they're captured by Jabba in Return of the Jedi [28:35].

Rebels - S3E22 - "Zero Hour, Part II"

1:09 - Thrawn's posture (hands behind his back) and position (on the bridge of a Star Destroyer) mirror Vader's in The Empire Strikes Back [20:27]:

1:28 - Thrawn (to an officer):  "Commence the attack."  Admiral Ackbar has a similar line in Return of the Jedi:  "Commence attack on the Death Star's main reactor!" [1:54:46]

15:17 - Thrawn (to his forces):  "Concentrate fire on the center of the storm!"  In Attack of the Clones, Yoda directs the clone troopers to "Concentrate all your fire on the nearest starship" [2:02:03], and in Return of the Jedi, Admiral Ackbar gives a similar command:  "Concentrate all fire on that Super Star Destroyer" [1:58:43].

16:29 - Ezra:  "Chopper, get us outta here."  In A New Hope, Han also says this (to Chewbacca):  "Chewie, get us outta here!" [55:26].

Rebels - S3E21 - "Zero Hour, Part I"

1:35 - Tarkin (after Thrawn explains that the Rebels "are about to launch a major military strike against the Empire"):  "They wouldn't dare!"  In The Phantom Menace, Sio Bibble says the same thing after Qui-Gon tells Amidala that the Trade Federation will kill her if she stays on Naboo [23:36].

2:35 - Tarkin:  "If we are to crush this rebellion, we must make examples of its leaders."
Thrawn:  "As you wish, Governor Tarkin."

There are two echoes here.  Tarkin also uses this phrase in A New Hope when he says, "Now, Lord Vader will provide us with the location of the rebel fortress by the time this station is operational.  We will then crush the rebellion with one swift strike" [38:52], and the phrase "As you wish" occurs a number of times in the original trilogy:  in A New Hope, Vader says it after Tarkin asks him to release General Motti from his Force choke [38:45]; in The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett says it after Vader warns the bounty hunters against disintegrations [1:06:22]; in Return of the Jedi, Vader says it twice more in conversations with the Emperor [39:16 and 1:07:38], and Admiral Piett says it to Vader ("As you wish, my lord") [56:13].  In The Phantom Menace, Nute Gunray says, "As you wish" at the end of a conversation with Darth Sidious [5:04], and in Revenge of the Sith, Captain Typho says, "As you wish, my lady," to Padmé [1:41:23].

9:37 - Thrawn (to the Rebels):  "There is no escape."  Vader says this to Luke in The Empire Strikes Back [1:50:25], and Palpatine says this to Luke in Return of the Jedi [1:44:31].

11:10 - Kanan (to Ezra):  "Good luck, kid."  In The Empire Strikes Back, an unidentified Rebel pilot wishes Luke good luck [36:02] and Luke wishes Lando good luck [2:00:09], and in Return of the Jedi, Han and Lando wish each other good luck [Han to Lando at 50:33 and Lando to Han at 52:21].

12:38 - Konstantine (to Thrawn):  "As you wish."  See above, 2:35.

13:35 - Green squadron pilot:  "I'm hit!"  Obi-Wan says this in Revenge of the Sith after buzz droids land on his starfighter [5:23].  In A New Hope, this is said by a Rebel pilot ("I'm hit!" [1:48:06]), Luke ("I'm hit, but not bad" [1:48:48]), and Wedge ("I'm hit!" [1:54:32]).  A rebel pilot also says, "I'm hit!" in Return of the Jedi [1:44:16].

14:11 - Kanan:  "Bendu, we need your help."  The same phrase appears in The Phantom Menace (Queen Amidala tells Jar Jar, "I need your help" [1:37:55]), Revenge of the Sith (Obi-Wan says, "Padmé, I need your help" [1:38:44]); and A New Hope (Obi-Wan says, "I need your help, Luke.  She [Leia] needs your help." [36:03]).

16:48 - Hera:  "Stay sharp, Ezra; we'll find you that opening."  Han says, "Stay sharp" twice in A New Hope, once to Chewbacca before making the jump to hyperspace away from Tatooine [56:08] and once to Luke shortly before the Death Star's sentry ships attack [1:34:15].

18:28 - Konstantine:  "Take evasive action!"  In The Empire Strikes Back, an Imperial officer also says, "Take evasive action!" [37:19]

18:53 - Imperial officer (to Thrawn):  "Sir, one Rebel ship escaped the blockade."  In The Phantom Menace, Nute Gunray's confession to Darth Sidious has the same basic structure:  "One Naboo cruiser got past the blockade" [27:22].

20:45 - Mon Mothma:  "I wish I could help you, Commander Bridger, but I can't.  Doing so would play into Thrawn's hands; he'd wipe out all we've worked to build."  Queen Amidala uses nearly the same expression in The Phantom Menace when she tells Boss Nass that "the Trade Federation has destroyed all that we have worked so hard to build" [1:41:02].

21:03 - Mon Mothma (to Ezra):  "I promise you we will do our best to negotiate fair treatment for the prisoners."  In The Phantom Menace, Obi-Wan tells Anakin, "You will be a Jedi; I promise" [2:07:43], and in Revenge of the Sith, Padmé tells Anakin, "I'm not gonna die in childbirth, Ani; I promise you," and he replies, "No, I promise you" [53:46].  Later, Anakin also tells her, "Things will be different; I promise" [1:29:13].
