The Clone Wars - S4E3 - "Prisoners"

0:36 - Narrator:  "Count Dooku commands his sinister agent Riff Tamson to use any means necessary to bring Prince Lee-Char out of hiding for he knows that hope does remain as long as the prince is alive."  The phrase "sinister agent" also appears (as a plural) in the opening crawl of A New Hope:  "Pursued by the Empire's sinister agents, Princess Leia races home aboard her starship, custodian of the stolen plans that can save her people and restore freedom to the galaxy...."

1:58 - Kit Fisto:  "Ah, eels, very dangerous."  This is based on Sallah's "Asps.  Very dangerous." in Raiders of the Lost Ark [1:00:50].

4:20 - Riff Tamson:  "The Jedi's resistance to pain is impressive."  This is somewhat similar to Vader's line about Leia in A New Hope:  "Her resistance to the mind probe is considerable" [51:15].

6:47 - Ahsoka:  "Monnk, am I glad to see you!"  Luke uses this same greeting in A New Hope:  "Ben Kenobi?  Boy, am I glad to see you!" [30:35]

7:21 - Tamson:  "I grow of waiting, Jedi.  Where is the prince?"  Tarkin has a similar line in A New Hope:  "I grow tired of asking this, so it'll be the last time:  where is the Rebel base?" [58:18].

9:30 - Lee-Char:  "But it's time for me to lead, and this, I feel, is my only course of action."  Queen Amidala also uses the phrase "course of action" in The Phantom Menace:  "I will not condone a course of action that will lead us to war" [9:51].

11:45 - Anakin (after Kit Fitso tells him to use the Force to create a bubble for Padmé to breathe from):  "I'm on it."  Probably just coincidentally, Luke says the same thing in A New Hope, after Red Leader warns him to avoid blaster fire [1:47:08].

13:47 - Tamson:  "Well, Nossor Ri, would you like to join this pitiful little fish and his dead father?"  Palpatine also uses the description "pitiful little" in Return of the Jedi:  "It was I who allowed the Alliance to know the location of the shield generator.  It was quite safe from your pitiful little band." [1:32:45].

The Clone Wars - S4E2 - "Gungan Attack"

0:54 - Count Dooku (about Lee-Char):  "Do not underestimate this boy, Tamson."  Warnings against underestimation occur twice in Return of the Jedi.  Luke tells Jabba, "It's your choice, but I warn you not to underestimate my powers" [24:26], and later Yoda tells Luke, "Luke, do not, do not underestimate the powers of the Emperor" [43:31].  In The Phantom Menace, Nute Gunray advises a battle droid, "These Jedi are not to be underestimated" [10:43], and in A New Hope, Vader tells Tarkin, "Don't underestimate the Force" [1:16:33].

2:23 - Anakin:  "We're gonna have to get ourselves to the surface and get off this rock."  Luke uses a similar expression in A New Hope; after C-3PO asks if there's anything he can do to help, he replies, "Not unless you can alter time, speed up the harvest, or teleport me off this rock" [19:58].

5:45 - Riff Tamson:  "Spring the trap."  The circumstances are different, but Obi-Wan also says this in Revenge of the Sith [8:16].

7:24 - Anakin:  "Our only hope is that Master Yoda can send help in time."
Captain Ackbar:  "No, Prince Lee-Char is our only hope."

Leia uses the phrase "only hope" twice in A New Hope ("Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope" [35:35] and "You must use the information in this R2 unit to help plan the attack; it's our only hope" [1:38:49]); C-3PO uses it once in The Empire Strikes Back ("Your highness, we must take this last transport; it's our only hope" [31:49]); Obi-Wan uses it once, referring to Luke, in Return of the Jedi ("You were our only hope" [47:24]); and Luke uses it once, referring to Leia, in Return of the Jedi ("If I don't make it back, you're the only hope for the Alliance" [1:19:39]). Sio Bibble also uses it in The Phantom Menace: "Our only hope is for the senate to side with us" [23:48].

10:46 - Padmé:  "Anakin, it's your move."  In Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan says this to General Grievous:  "Your move" [58:07].

15:50 - Jar Jar:  "Ani, meesa so happy to see you."  He has a similar greeting (to Obi-Wan) in Attack of the Clones:  "Meesa so smilin' to seein' yousa!" [7:53].

The Clone Wars - S4E1 - "Water War"

6:42 - Captain Ackbar:  "It's an attack!"  This is patterned after his famous "It's a trap!" in Return of the Jedi [1:35:03].

8:54 - Ahsoka:  "Blue leader, standing by."
Clone trooper:  "Red leader, standing by."

There's a similar sequence in A New Hope where the pilots report in before the assault on the Death Star:  "Red ten, standing by."  "Red seven, standing by."  "Red three, standing by."  "Red six, standing by."  "Red nine, standing by."  "Red two, standing by."  "Red eleven, standing by."  "Red five, standing by." [1:45:26].

12:42 - Lee-Char (to Ahsoka):  "Get us out of here!"  In A New Hope, Han Solo also says this (to Chewbacca):  "Chewie, get us outta here!" [55:26].

14:20 - Kit Fisto:  "We seem to have won this round."  Padmé uses this same phrase in The Phantom Menace, referring to the Trade Federation battle droids:  "They win this round" [1:58:17].

16:49 - Captain Ackbar (to the Mon Calamari soldiers and clone troopers):  "Steady, steady."  In The Phantom Menace, Jar Jar also says this (but to the Gungan soldiers) [1:48:30].

18:37 - After running his mini-sub into a Hydroid Medusa, Kit Fisto smiles, like he does in Attack of the Clones:

---

According to the Star Wars website, Riff Tamson, the shark-like Separatist commander in this episode, is a Karkarodon.  This species name seems to be derived from καρχαρίας, the Greek word for shark.

The Clone Wars - S3E22 - "Wookiee Hunt"

2:42 - O-Mer: "We feared the worst."  In A New Hope, one of the rebels says the same thing to Leia when she arrives on Yavin IV:  "When we heard about Alderaan, we feared the worst" [1:38:45].

4:04 - Trandoshan (as Ahsoka jumps into the window of the ship):  "What the?"  In Attack of the Clones, an alien on Coruscant makes this same exclamation as he sees Obi-Wan flying through traffic while hanging from a droid [15:08]; Han Solo says it in A New Hope after emerging from hyperspace into a meteor shower [1:03:15], and in Return of the Jedi, a scout trooper says this after being hit by Wicket [1:05:38].

12:55 - Ahsoka (to Chewbacca):  "We need your help."  Queen Amidala says almost the same thing to Jar Jar in The Phantom Menace ("I need your help" [1:37:55]); Obi-Wan to Padmé in Revenge of the Sith ("Padmé, I need your help" [1:38:44]); and Obi-Wan to Luke in A New Hope ("I need your help, Luke.  She [Leia] needs your help." [36:03]).

19:02 - One of the items in the Trandoshan trophy room is the crystal skull from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull:

19:54 - Ahsoka (to Garnac):  "You're beaten."  In The Empire Strikes Back, Vader also says this (to Luke):  "You are beaten" [1:50:02].
