8:12 - AP-5 (to Chopper):  "You can run, but there will be no escape."  Vader says nearly the same thing to Luke in The Empire Strikes Back:  "There is no escape" [1:50:25].  Palpatine also tells Luke, "There is no escape" in Return of the Jedi [1:44:31].

11:36 - Imperial captain (after Chopper hits him):  "Ow!  What the?"  In Attack of the Clones, an alien on Coruscant also exclaims, "What the?" as he sees Obi-Wan flying through traffic while hanging from a droid [15:08]; Han says it in A New Hope after emerging from hyperspace into a meteor shower [1:03:15]; and in Return of the Jedi, a scout trooper says this after being hit by Wicket [1:05:38].

12:05 - AP-5 (to Chopper after he attacks the captain):  "I can't believe what you just did."  Dr. Jones, Sr. also says this in The Last Crusade after Indy shoots down some Nazis:  "I can't believe what you did" [51:29].

16:30 - Ketsu (after Sabine thanks her):  "You owe me one."  Anakin also says this to Obi-Wan in Revenge of the Sith:  "Alright, but you owe me one, and not for saving your skin for the tenth time" [24:38].  In Return of the Jedi, Han also tells Luke, "I owe you one" [37:21].

16:47 - Screenshots don't do this justice, but this shot of The Ghost sliding to a stop as it approaches the camera is similar to one of the Separatist vessel doing the same near the beginning of Revenge of the Sith [23:23].

Rebels - S2E4 - "Relics of the Old Republic"

0:41 - Zeb (to Rex, after Ezra asks if he's sure he won't go with them):  "Yeah, you're not bad in a fight."  Han similarly describes Luke in A New Hope:  "Pretty good in a fight" [1:41:43].

1:18 - The framing of this shot is similar to one near the beginning of A New Hope [2:14], although The Ghost is just idling and facing the opposite direction as the Tantive IV:

1:36 - Hera (to the rebels):  "Good luck down there."  In The Empire Strikes Back, an unidentified Rebel pilot wishes Luke good luck [36:02] and Luke wishes Lando good luck [2:00:09], and in Return of the Jedi, Han and Lando wish each other good luck [Han to Lando at 50:33 and Lando to Han at 52:21].

4:19 - Sabine (after Gregor says the clones haven't been shot at in years):  "Yeah?  Well, it happens to us every day."  There's some similarity here to what Indiana Jones says in The Last Crusade after his father tells him that someone trying to kill him is a new experience for him:  "Happens to me all the time" [1:18:43].

5:18 - Agent Kallus (to Admiral Konstatine):  "Prepare for ground assault."  General Rieekan also says this in The Empire Strikes Back [22:42].

6:48 - Gregor (about the AT-ATs):  "Would you look at the size of those things!"  Wedge makes almost the same comment about the Death Star in A New Hope:  "Look at the size of that thing!" [1:45:53]

7:10 - Rex (after Kanan criticizes him for running from the AT-ATs):  "Well, if you've got a better idea, sir, now's the time."  Obi-Wan says something similar while speaking to Tion Medon in Revenge of the Sith:  "If you have warriors, now is the time" [55:19].

7:41 - Kallus (to the AT-AT pilot):  "Fire at will."  Palpatine gives the same command in Return of the Jedi:  "Fire at will, commander" [1:14:37].

9:12 - Sabine (referring to the AT-ATs):  "Those things are practically impervious to blasters, but they have one weak point in their armor:  the neck."

Gregor:  "One well-placed shot from the main gun should destroy it."

There are two similarities here.  In The Empire Strikes Back, Luke says of the AT-ATs, "That armor's too strong for blasters" [27:20].

In A New Hope, General Dodonna says of the Death Star, "A small, one-man fighter should be able to penetrate the outer defense" [1:39:43].

9:50 - Zeb:  "I don't know how we're supposed to shoot something we can't see."  There's some connection here to Luke's comment in A New Hope:  "With the blast shield down, I can't even see; how'm I supposed to fight?" [1:01:41]

14:49 - Rex (to Ezra):  "Great shot, kid!"  Han says the same thing to Luke at the end of A New Hope:  "Great shot, kid!  That was one in a million!"  [1:57:20].

16:48 - Kallus:  "Intensify forward firepower!"  Admiral Piett says the same thing in Return of the Jedi [1:59:00].

Rebels - S1E4 - "Fighter Flight"

0:30 - Ezra (to Chopper):  "Come back here, you rolling junk pile."  C-3PO similarly insults R2-D2 in A New Hope:  "Go that way.  You'll be malfunctioning within a day, you near-sighted scrap pile" [9:53].

5:03 - Zeb (to Ezra):  "So what's the plan, kid?"  Han has a similar line in A New Hope when he asks Luke, "What's your plan?" [1:11:56]

7:31 - Stormtrooper (to Zeb):  "Hands up!"  A stormtrooper also says, "Hands up!" to Han and Leia in Return of the Jedi [1:48:07].  In The Phantom Menace, a battle droid says, "Hands up!" to Jar Jar and Captain Tarpals [2:00:19], and in Revenge of the Sith, one says "Hands up, Jedi!" to Anakin [10:22].

9:37 - Zeb (after fruit splatters the cockpit of the TIE fighter he stole):  "Can't see a thing!"  Obi-Wan says the same thing in Revenge of the Sith, after the cockpit of his starfighter fogs over ("I can't see a thing" [6:11]), and Luke says the same thing in A New Hope about his stormtrooper disguise ("I can't see a thing in this helmet!" [1:13:17]) and in The Empire Strikes Back while entering Dagobah's atmosphere in his X-wing ("All the scopes are dead; I can't see a thing" [41:09]).

14:59 - Zeb (to Supply Master Lyste, who's suspicious about the stolen TIE fighter):  "That's not the TIE you're looking for."  This has the same structure as Obi-Wan's line "These aren't the droids you're looking for" in A New Hope [43:40].

15:48 - Mr. Sumar (to Ezra, as he's reaching down to the control panel to release the Imperial prisoners):  "It's too dangerous!"  In A New Hope, Obi-Wan gives this same warning to Luke as he rushes back to the farm [39:52].

17:58 - Ezra sticks a wrench into the barrel of the turret so that when it fires, the turret explodes, which is basically the same thing that Indiana Jones does with a rock and a turret on a tank in The Last Crusade [1:30:22].

The Phantom Menace

In the opening crawl, the Jedi Knights are described as "the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy," which is taken verbatim from Obi-Wan's dialogue in A New Hope:  "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the old Republic, before the dark times, before the Empire" [33:54].

3:05 - Obi-Wan:  "I have a bad feeling about this."

5:02 - Nute Gunray (after Sidious commands him to kill the Jedi):  "Yes, yes, my lord, uh, as you wish."  The phrase "as you wish" appears a number of times in the original trilogy:  in A New Hope, Vader says it after Tarkin asks him to release General Motti from his Force choke [38:45]; in The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett says it after Vader warns the bounty hunters against disintegrations [1:06:22]; in Return of the Jedi, Vader says it twice more in conversations with the Emperor [39:16 and 1:07:38], and Admiral Piett says it to Vader ("As you wish, my lord") [56:13].

6:27 - Nute Gunray:  "Close the blast doors!"  A stormtrooper also says this in A New Hope [1:29:39].

23:25 - Captain Panaka (referring to the battle droids):  "There are too many of them."  A rebel pilot says basically the same thing in Return of the Jedi (referring to TIE fighters):  "There's too many of them" [1:35:13].

23:48 - Sio Bibble:  "Our only hope is for the senate to side with us."  Leia uses the phrase "only hope" twice in A New Hope ("Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope" [35:35] and "You must use the information in this R2 unit to help plan the attack; it's our only hope" [1:38:49]); C-3PO uses it once in The Empire Strikes Back ("Your highness, we must take this last transport; it's our only hope" [31:49]); Obi-Wan uses it once, referring to Luke, in Return of the Jedi ("You were our only hope" [47:24]); and Luke uses it once, referring to Leia, in Return of the Jedi ("If I don't make it back, you're the only hope for the Alliance" [1:19:39]).

31:47 - Qui-Gon:  "I need parts for a J-type 327 Nubian."

35:30 - Qui-Gon:  "I'm sure another solution will present itself."  Perhaps coincidentally, this is somewhat similar to what Dr. Jones, Sr. says in The Last Crusade:  "I find that if I just sit down and think, the solution presents itself" [1:02:16].

39:03 (to Padmé) & 39:26 (to R2-D2) - C-3PO:  "I am C-3PO, human-cyborg relations."  He introduces himself the same way to Luke in A New Hope ("And I am C-3PO, human-cyborg relations" [20:25]) and to Lando in The Empire Strikes Back ("I am C-3PO, human-cyborg relations" [1:21:31]).  He's about to say the same thing in Return of the Jedi, but EV-9D9 interrupts him, so he gets only as far as "I am C-3PO human-cy-" [11:21].

56:08 - Podrace announcer: "And back again it's the mighty Dud Bolt with that incredible racing machine, the Vulptereen 327."

1:17:31 - Anakin (to Qui-Gon):  "Are you alright?"

and

1:19:06 - Padmé (to Anakin):  "You alright?"

In A New Hope, Luke asks Obi-Wan, "Are you alright?" [59:16] and Biggs asks Luke [1:46:44], and in The Empire Strikes Back, Luke asks, "Rogue Two, are you alright?" [30:31].  Twice in The Empire Strikes Back, Han asks this with the shortened "You alright?" once to Luke [22:12] and once to Leia [31:39].  Luke also asks Han, "Are you alright?" when they're captured by Jabba in Return of the Jedi [28:31].

1:28:36 - Queen Amidala:  "I was not elected to watch my people suffer and die while you discuss this invasion in a committee."  Han Solo uses a similar expression in The Empire Strikes Back:  "No time to discuss this in a committee!" [1:00:16].

1:33:06 - Ki-Adi Mundi (referring to Anakin):  "The Force is strong with him."  In The Empire Strikes Back, Palpatine, speaking to Vader, also says this about Luke [53:46].  Vader has a similar line in A New Hope when he says, "The Force is strong with this one" [1:55:41], also describing Luke, although unknowingly.

1:34:50 - Obi-Wan:  "It's not disrespect, Master; it's the truth."

Qui-Gon:  "From your point of view."

Qui-Gon's line resembles what Obi-Wan says to Luke in Return of the Jedi:  "So what I told you was true, from a certain point of view" [46:21].

1:36:33 - Qui-Gon (to Queen Amidala, after she says that Senator Palpatine fears the Trade Federation wants to destroy her):  "I assure you I will not allow that to happen."  The context is quite different, but Palpatine (as Emperor) also uses this expression while speaking to Luke in Return of the Jedi:  "I assure you we are quite safe from your friends here" [1:32:08].

1:37:55 - Queen Amidala (to Jar Jar):  "I need your help."  Obi-Wan also says this in A New Hope:  "I need your help, Luke.  She [Leia] needs your help." [36:03].

1:47:37 - Wilhelm scream (Naboo guard)

1:59:48 - Obi-Wan screams, "No!" after Darth Maul strikes down Qui-Gon, which is the same sort of situation as in A New Hope when Luke screams, "No!" after Darth Vader strikes down Obi-Wan [1:32:24]

2:00:19 - Battle droid (to Jar Jar and Captain Tarpals):  "Hands up!"  A storm trooper also says this to Han and Leia in Return of the Jedi [1:48:07].

2:03:31 - The battle droid next to Jar Jar has markings that appear to be 1138:

2:06:41 - There's a brief musical cue of the Imperial March as Yoda tells Obi-Wan that he fears "grave danger" in Anakin's training.

The Clone Wars - S6E3 - "Fugitive"

0:40 - Narrator:  "Now the tumor is the only hope to finding answers for Tup's mysterious illness."  Leia uses the phrase "only hope" twice in A New Hope ("Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope" [35:35] and "You must use the information in this R2 unit to help plan the attack; it's our only hope" [1:38:49]); C-3PO uses it once in The Empire Strikes Back ("Your highness, we must take this last transport; it's our only hope" [31:49]); Obi-Wan uses it once, referring to Luke, in Return of the Jedi ("You were our only hope" [47:24]); and Luke uses it once, referring to Leia, in Return of the Jedi ("If I don't make it back, you're the only hope for the Alliance" [1:19:39]). Sio Bibble also uses it in The Phantom Menace: "Our only hope is for the senate to side with us" [23:48].

4:02 - AZ-3 (after Fives attacks a group of clone troopers):  "Look what you did!  I cannot believe what you did!"  In Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Dr. Jones, Sr. says almost exactly the same thing after Indiana Jones shoots a group of Nazis:  "Look what you did!  I can't believe what you did!" [51:26]

5:47 - Shaak Ti (to a clone trooper, referring to Fives):  "I want him brought in alive.  Have that ship tracked."  This is somewhat similar to Vader's commands to the stormtroopers in A New Hope ("Bring me the passengers; I want them alive!" [6:08]) and to the bounty hunters in The Empire Strikes Back ("You are free to use any methods necessary, but I want them alive, no disintegrations" [1:06:14]), and while the specific dialogue isn't very similar, Captain Needa gives the same command in The Empire Strikes Back, referring to the crew of the Millennium Falcon:  "Track them!" [1:07:42]

6:52 - Fives (to AZ-3, after he turns into a sort of speeder):  "You're just full of surprises, aren't ya?"  Luke uses the same expression during his duel with Vader in The Empire Strikes Back:  "You'll find I'm full of surprises" [1:43:49].

14:19 - Nala Se (referring to Fives and AZ-3):  "They must have escaped by now."

Shaak Ti:  "Escape was never their intention."

There are similarities to two lines in A New Hope here.  Referring to Obi-Wan, Tarkin says, "Surely he must be dead by now" [1:16:31], and later in the same conversation, Vader says, "Escape is not his plan" [1:16:59].

19:22 - Nala Se (to Shaak Ti, referring to Fives):  "Master Jedi, we must terminate this trooper immediately."  Referring to Leia, Tarkin gives the same command in A New Hope:  "Terminate her immediately" [1:03:05].  In Return of the Jedi, C-3PO, translating for Jabba the Hutt, also uses this expression:  "His high exaltedness, the great Jabba the Hutt has decreed that you are to be terminated immediately" [28:48].

16:31 - Moralo Eval:  "Who sells a ship with only enough fuel to get to this lousy rock?"  In A New Hope, Luke also disdainfully calls a planet a rock; after C-3PO asks if there's anything he can do to help, he replies, "Not unless you can alter time, speed up the harvest, or teleport me off this rock" [19:58].

19:47 - Anakin:  "You're going to pay for what you did."

Hardeen:  "You shouldn't have gotten involved."

There are two similarities here.  In Attack of the Clones, Anakin says almost the same thing:  "You're gonna pay for all the Jedi that you killed today, Dooku" [2:04:51], and in A New Hope, Obi-Wan uses the same expression when he tells Luke, "He [Luke's uncle] didn't hold with your father's ideals, thought he should have stayed here and not gotten involved" [32:42].

1:58 - Kit Fisto:  "Ah, eels, very dangerous."  This is based on Sallah's "Asps.  Very dangerous." in Raiders of the Lost Ark [1:00:50].

15:23 - Grievous:  "I will deal with this Jedi myself."  He says almost the exact same thing in Revenge of the Sith:  "I will deal with this Jedi slime myself" [58:03].  Both times, he's referring to Kenobi.  In Return of the Jedi, Vader says, "I will deal with them myself," referring to the Rebel strike force [56:10].
